Shere Bordombe Morris Borcestershire's very own traditional Cotswold Morris side has been dancing through Shere Bordombe and other villages in the area for longer than most of the side would care to remember. New dancers and musicians would be welcomed by all. Please note that the Shere Bordombe Morris Men no longer practice at the "Lumps Of Plum Pud Inn" and now meet on Tuesdays at 8.00pm at "The Old Woman Tossed Up Inn", Ablan Gate, Shere Bordombe, Borcestershire BO8 6OM

sTROOF Magazine Don Arsinane's opinion forming rag, the self-styled "weirdo's lowliest guide to a nerd's music", encompasses every branch of roots music from Angola to Zambia and all places in between. In the words of ageing rocker Nob Prattler sTROOF magazine is "Indirectly sublimating", "Inscrutably delimiting" and "Discernibly mutilating".

Codroe's Compendium of Calendar Customs Professor W. Codroe is one of the Country's leading authorities on Microsoft Powerpoint and other digital aids to multimedia presentation. During his extremely entertaining talks on the technology there are often occasional glimpses of recordings and photographs of traditional calendar customs from Borcestershire and beyond - thus making him one of the most popular characters on the folk club circuit. This website, although containing a wealth of fascinating images of ancient rituals and ceremonies from around the County, lacks the serendipity, spontaneity and drama of an evening in the Professor's company.

Midsouth Folk Week Why not enjoy a week-long seaside song and dance at the Grand-Daddy of all English folk festivals featuring the very best in folk music - and much more besides. With venues ranging from the massive Spam Marquee right down to the intimate surroundings of pubs such as the Redpath and the Tunelover, not to mention the ceilidhs at the Capstan Gardens and concerts at the Castle Pavilion, there is something for everyone - even young people at the out-of-town Bunrevolt Marquee.

Relic Voices Etc. A fantasy folk club set in the South West corner of the improbably-named county of Surrey where a group of enthusiastic optimists book all their favourite singers, musicians, ceilidh bands and callers in the forlorn hope that enough people will turn out to subsidise their habit. (N.B. The names of the booked artistes appear to be anagrams!)
